Celebrating Friendship

Goodbye, March. Hello, April!

“A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.”

We kick off April’s library programme with the celebration of friendship! April is also the month when we celebrate International Friendship Day and this year, the theme is ASEAN50. Do look forward to the school celebration on Tuesday, 4th April!

Here at the library, we have our display up to enlighten you about ASEAN50, quizzes and book recommendations related to friendship.

If you know of a good book or series which has friendship as its core theme, why don’t you recommend it to us by commenting in this post?

Are you looking forward to what the library has lined up for the coming week?

Term 2 Week 3, 3rd April to 7th April

  • Monday: Word Search
  • Tuesday: Craft (Friendship Bracelet)
  • Wednesday: IFD Quiz 1
  • Thursday: IFD Quiz 2
  • Friday: Storytelling by PV

Do visit the blog again the next weekend to find out what we’ll be having in Term 2 Week 4, 10 – 14 April.

See you at the library!

  1. Bridge to Terabithia by Katerine Paterson has friendship as one of its theme. The Boy in Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne is another one.

    1. Thank you for your recommendation, Mdm Farina! We really appreciate it.
We will try to add The Boy in Striped Pyjamas to our Book Display. Bridge to Terabithia has already been added.
